Edition 2025 — Umbria Film Festival
The 29th edition of the Umbria Film Festival (July 8-13, 2025) featured the artistic direction of Maria Teresa Cavina, alongside Giacomo Caldarelli, Ivan Frenguelli, and Sergio Sozzo, with the presence of honorary president Terry Gilliam.
Among the protagonists were the masterclasses of Enzo D'Alò, Laura Citarella, and Gilliam himself ("The Terry's Prophecy"), the panel "Lights in the Darkness," and the Amarcorti short film competition. To celebrate forty years of Brazil, Gilliam and screenwriter Charles McKeown presented a special screening. The keys to the city were awarded to D'Alò, Citarella, and McKeown, while the first Award for Excellence went to Saverio Costanzo.
