UISP Day

The 2025 edition of UISP Day transformed Piazza Martiri della Libertà in Carpi, in the province of Modena, into a large open-air sports field. From 10 am to 7 pm, over 6,000 people filled the square with stands for cycling, spinning, badminton, tennis, volleyball, artistic gymnastics, aerial dance, golf, basketball, football, climbing wall, table tennis, and martial arts.

The highlight of the day was the pole vault competition with the Duomo in the background: among women, Siria Bigi won with 3.50 meters, and among men, Nicolò Fusaro with 5.00 meters. Ample space was dedicated to activities promoted by CIP for people with disabilities — subbuteo, bocce, darts, and archery — as well as the Play Park for children and a talk on the theme of fatigue. A record-breaking edition that confirmed the event's inclusive vocation.
