In 2025, Castel Vittorio also celebrated its savory pie with the Turtun Festival, featuring tastings, music, and stalls in the historic center. A festival that revived the flavors of the Val Nervia peasant cuisine, in the Imperia hinterland.
The 2025 edition of the Turtun Festival confirmed the village's connection to its most authentic gastronomic tradition. In the narrow streets of Castel Vittorio, in the province of Imperia, visitors could taste freshly baked turtun, filled with vegetables and cheese, accompanied by music and the convivial atmosphere of the village festival, a showcase of the western Ligurian mountain culture.
