Turro e Gorla — Quartieri in Festa

The Turro and Gorla festival is part of the "Quartieri in Festa" project promoted by Municipality 2 of Milan, designed to bring Milanese culture back to the streets and enhance the identity of the old villages that once did not belong to the city. The Martesana Amphitheatre, in the Martyrs of the Iraqi Freedom Park, is its natural setting.

The event offers exhibitions, debates, shows, an artisan and agricultural market, and a book sharing service, created with the involvement of associations, committees, and local organisations such as Happy Days and Amici della Musica. A free moment of aggregation, social and cultural, open to all citizens of the Turro and Gorla neighbourhoods.
