Tupposa – Sicilian Brioche Festival

Tupposa 2025: the third edition

The third edition of Tupposa was held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM, in Piazza Salvatore Quasimodo in Gliaca di Piraino (ME). The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Piraino led by Gaspare Maggio, attracted numerous visitors for an evening dedicated to the brioche col tuppo.

The event was enlivened by local bakeries and pastry shops — including Saporito, Rocca Fiorita, Pane per i tuoi denti, and Antica Panetteria — along with the Birrificio Rock and other restaurants. The offerings ranged from traditional brioche to ice creams (ricotta, coconut, gluten-free versions), as well as artisanal savory specialties. To top off the evening, there was live music by the Kilimangiaro Band and the multisensory game "Taste. Guess. Win.", which rewarded the most discerning palates.
