Edition 2025 — Deliceto Living Nativity

The 45th edition of the "Tu scendi dalle stelle" Living Nativity took place in Deliceto on December 26, 27, and 28, 2025. With nearly one hundred actors including shepherds, housewives, seamstresses, and craftsmen, the historic center recreated the grand 18th-century Neapolitan nativity, while the Nativity scene came to life in the Grotto of Beato Felice da Corsano. Shuttle trains, food and wine tastings, and a visit to the Sanctuary of the Consolazione were included in the single ticket.

Deliceto Living Nativity 2025

The 45th edition of the "Tu scendi dalle stelle" Living Nativity was held in Deliceto (Province of Foggia, Puglia) on December 26, 27, and 28, 2025. The event, organized by the Pro Loco and the Municipality with the support of local associations, brought the entire historic center to life with nearly one hundred actors in perfect 18th-century Neapolitan style.

Along the route, visitors encountered artisan workshops, taverns, and tasting stations, before reaching the Grotto of Beato Felice da Corsano—home to the Nativity scene—and the nearby Sanctuary of the Consolazione by shuttle train. The event attracted thousands of visitors from across Puglia and Italy, confirming Deliceto as one of the most celebrated living nativities in the region.

Programme

Re-enactment of the 18th-century Neapolitan nativity in the historic center with nearly 100 actors; route through artisan workshops, taverns, and food and wine tastings; shuttle train to the Grotto of Beato Felice da Corsano featuring the Nativity scene; guided tour of the Sanctuary of the Consolazione.
