Truffle King Festival 2025

From August 8 to 12, 2025, Tornareccio, in the province of Chieti, hosted the Truffle King Festival, five days entirely dedicated to the "king of the table". The historic center came alive with food stalls offering truffle-scented menus, guided tastings with chefs and producers, and stalls selling local Abruzzese products and handicrafts.

The program alternated evening concerts and live music shows with entertainment and workshops for children, folk performances, and street entertainment, as well as guided tours of the village and the surrounding nature trails. An edition that confirmed Tornareccio's vocation as one of the reference centers for the truffle of the Upper Vastese.

The festival took place over five days, from August 8 to 12, 2025, with food stalls open in the evening in the historic center. The program included truffle menus, guided tastings with local chefs and producers, a market of local products and handicrafts, evening concerts and live music, entertainment and workshops for children, folk performances, street entertainment, and guided tours of the village and nature trails.
