Edition 2025 — Truffle Day

On September 21, 2025, Fortunago celebrated the Truffle Day and its patronal feast, with mass in the 17th-century church, truffle hunting demonstrations with dogs, truffle tastings paired with DOC wines from Oltrepò, and a market of local products, amidst the streets of the medieval village.

The 2025 edition of the Truffle Day and Patronal Feast of Fortunago took place on September 21. The day opened with mass in the church of Santa Maria e San Giorgio, followed by a presentation by an expert on truffles from the area, demonstrations of truffle hunting with dogs by the trifolau, and a gastronomic journey featuring truffle dishes paired with DOC wines from Oltrepò Pavese. The market of local products enlivened the village streets, confirming the event as one of the most beloved food and wine gatherings of the Pavia autumn.
