Edition 2025 — Trofeo Sant'Agata

The 2025 edition of the Trofeo Sant'Agata took place on Sunday, February 2, on the circuit in Catania's historic center, starting from the Palazzo della Cultura. Seven laps for men (9,800 meters) and four for women (5,600 meters), in a day of intense competition amidst the Agatine celebrations.

On Sunday, February 2, 2025, the Trofeo Sant'Agata enlivened the historic center of Catania with its traditional city circuit. In the men's race, the Tunisian Mohamed Amin won, completing the 9,800 meters in 29'20", setting a very tough pace from the very first laps; the Italian Iliass Aouani came in second (30'02") and the Kenyan Simon Kibet Loitanyang third (30'04"). Among the women, victory went to Violette Ndayikengurukiye over the 5,600-meter distance.

The race, organized by Atletica Sicilia with the patronage of the Municipality of Catania, the Committee for the Feast of Sant'Agata, FIDAL Sicilia, and CONI Sicilia, confirmed the international appeal of the Sicilian event.
