Trofeo Atletica Misilmeri – Bocchiaro Ricambi / Rocco Chinnici Memorial

The 3rd edition of the Trofeo Atletica Misilmeri – Bocchiaro Ricambi, featuring the 1st Rocco Chinnici Memorial, was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, along the streets of the historic center of Misilmeri, in the province of Palermo. The 5 km road race, organized by the A.S.D.P. Scuola di Atletica Misilmeri in collaboration with ACSI Sicilia and under the patronage of the Municipality, served as the Regional Individual Master 5 km Road Championship and as a stage of the FIDAL Palermo Provincial Circuit for youth and master categories.

Approximately 300 athletes gathered at the start. Among the overall winners, Vincenzo Agnello (Sicilia Running Team) crossed the finish line first with a time of 15'19, and Aurora Castello (Cus Palermo) won the women's race with 18'09. The route crossed the town's squares and neighborhoods, from Piazza Comitato to Piazzetta Rocco Chinnici, accompanied by the warmth of the public on a day that combined sport and civic remembrance.
