Edition 2025 — Tremiti Carnival

In 2025, the Carnival once again brought color and joy to the Tremiti Islands. On Shrove Tuesday, the small community of the island of San Nicola gathered to celebrate with masks and costumes, involving children and residents in a simple and heartfelt party, far from the frenzy of the large mainland carnivals.

The 2025 Carnival on the Tremiti Islands confirmed the community spirit of this festival. On the island of San Nicola, the main hub of the municipality of Isole Tremiti (Province of Foggia), masks and confetti enlivened the narrow streets of the archipelago on Shrove Tuesday.

As per tradition, the festival focused on the little ones and resident families, in an intimate and cheerful atmosphere typical of off-season seaside villages. An event that, despite its simplicity, represents an important moment of social connection for the Tremiti community during the winter months.
