Edition 2025 — Trappeto Living Nativity

The December 2025 edition of the Trappeto Living Nativity opened on Tuesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the hamlet of Trappeto, in San Giovanni la Punta (CT). In the evocative village reconstructed at the Church of Maria SS. del Rosario e San Rocco, the community brought to life the sacred representation of the Nativity with songs and music from the ancient Sicilian tradition. Free admission.

Trappeto Living Nativity 2025

The 2025 edition of the Trappeto Living Nativity kicked off on December 16 and 17, 2025, beginning the Christmas cycle for the hamlet of San Giovanni la Punta. Amidst olive trees, animal pens, and traditional farming tools, parish groups reconstructed an ancient shepherd's village around the Nativity scene.

The performances, accompanied by live songs from the ancient Sicilian tradition, attracted numerous visitors from the Etna area. Admission was free.
