Edition 2025 — Trapani Film Festival

The third edition of the Trapani Film Festival took place from August 18th to 24th, 2025, at Villa Margherita in Trapani. Seven free-admission evenings blended cinema, words, and music, featuring premieres, a competitive section of short films selected from over 900 entries, and a rich lineup of guests from the Italian film and music scene, ranging from directors and actors to live performers.

Trapani Film Festival 2025

The third edition of the Trapani Film Festival was held from August 18th to 24th, 2025, at Villa Margherita, in the heart of Trapani. The artistic direction featured a collaboration between Lele Vannoli and founders Francesco Torre and Michael C. Allen.

Each evening began at 8:30 PM with a format combining live talks, screenings, and musical performances, hosted by the De Core Podcast collective. Guests of the edition included Pif, Massimiliano Bruno, Simona Cavallari, Raiz, Ninni Bruschetta, Giovanni Esposito, the duo Matranga and Minafò, and the Manetti Bros.

The short film section featured 18 works selected from over 900 submissions worldwide, with the audience invited to vote for the competing entries. Highlights included premieres and live concerts, culminating in a grand finale by Sud Sound System on August 24th.
