Edition 2025 — Transumanza Festival
The 2025 edition of the Transumanza Festival in Tremosine sul Garda (Brescia) reprised the traditional agro-pastoral rite of the descent of herds from mountain pastures. The herd, which departed early in the morning from Malga Ciapa in Tremalzo, reached the Alpe del Garda Dairy, where the day continued with festivities.
Brescia-style spit-roast, polenta, bouncy castles, and a mechanical bull for children animated the dairy's grounds, in a unique landscape between the mountains and Lake Garda. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco of Tremosine, confirmed its role in promoting alpine traditions and the local cheese production chain.
