Transhumance in the Valle dei Tremendi

The 2025 edition

The Transhumance in the Valle dei Tremendi hike has long been part of the calendar of guided outings by the Valsesia Protected Areas Management Authority, dedicated to the naturalistic, historical, and landscape discovery of the territory. In the 2025 edition, as every year, participants reached the alpine pastures of Val Sorba starting from the village of Rassa, in the Province of Vercelli, accompanied by guides along the ancient paths of transhumance.

An opportunity to experience one of the most deep-rooted traditions of the Valsesian mountains up close and to discover the wild beauty of the "valley of the formidable," amidst sparkling waters, forests, and high-altitude blooms.
