Transart — Contemporary Culture Festival

The 25th edition of Transart was held from September 11th to 21st, 2025, celebrating twenty-five years of the festival alongside the 40th anniversary of the Museion in Bolzano. With over thirty events spread throughout South Tyrol — from Bolzano to Merano, Silandro, Brunico, Cortaccia, Appiano, and Renon — the edition focused on the theme of the body, understood as a tool for investigation, expression, and ritual.

Among the most anticipated moments: the opening at the NOI Techpark with the evening The Body, the world premiere of La Mort de la Mer by CocoRosie, the non-stop event 24 HOURS at the Museion, the Italian premiere of Land of No Return by Marina Davydova at the Stadttheater Puccini in Merano, and the streaming talk by Marina Abramović. A programme of radical premieres that confirmed Transart as a European benchmark for contemporary culture.
