Edition 2025 — Trail Monte Casto

The 18th edition of Trail Monte Casto took place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Andorno Micca, in the Biella area, with over 700 athletes at the start from 30 provinces and 16 nationalities. On the 44 km, Cristian Minoggio set a new record in 3h28'03", while Margherita De Giuli won the women's race in 4h25'02". The 20 km and the non-competitive walk also took place.

Trail Monte Casto 2025 — 18th edition

The 18th edition of the Trail Monte Casto was held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Andorno Micca, attracting over 700 runners from 30 provinces and 16 different nationalities. The flagship 44 km race (2,050 m D+) had 310 participants, while the 20 km had 387, confirming the growing success of the Biella event.

A twist occurred on the long course: Cristian Minoggio (Sport Project VCO) won, setting a new race record in 3h28'03", ahead of Mattia Bertoncini (3h30'23") and Francesco Nicola (3h33'20"). In the women's category, success went to Margherita De Giuli (A.S.D. Climb Runners) in 4h25'02", followed by Giulia Saggin and Chiara Boggio. The race was valid as the final stage of the Piemontrail Challenge and for the FIDAL regional long trail title.
