Trail del Barocco

The 2025 edition of the Trail del Barocco was held over the weekend of April 4-6, confirming the innovative format of a prologue plus two stages. Friday opened the event with a cycling-photography treasure hunt along the alleys of Ortigia; on Saturday, the first stage took participants from the Balza di Acradina to Ferla, while on Sunday, the final stage returned to Syracuse for a total of approximately 180 km and 2,400 meters of elevation gain.

The route passed through Ortigia, Sortino, Ferla, Palazzolo Acreide, and Canicattini Bagni, highlighting the Baroque of the Val di Noto and the Anapo Valley with a proposal that combines sport, nature, culture, and gastronomy in the Syracuse province.
