Traiettorie

The 2025 edition of Traiettorie, the thirty-fifth, focused on the relationship between new music and new technologies. The program brought together about fifty pieces composed in the new millennium, with seven world premieres (six of which were commissioned by the festival) and nine Italian premieres.

The spring section took place in Parma over a dense weekend, from May 16 to 18, with nine concerts between Casa della Musica and Casa del Suono, each often dedicated to a single instrument in dialogue with electronics. The festival concluded on November 19 at the Casa della Musica with violinist Hae-Sun Kang, performing a Fantasia by Telemann and the Italian premiere of Nina Šenk's "Into the Shades.".
