Tradizione Vuole, the first edition

In December 2023, San Vito dei Normanni hosted the first edition of Tradizione Vuole, the public assembly conceived by the World Music Academy to reflect on the state of the art of traditional music and repertoires in their dialogue with the contemporary world. The initiative, rooted in the cultural ecosystem of the ExFadda Urban Laboratory, brought together musicians, scholars, and professionals around the practices of transmission and reinvention of folk repertoires, laying the foundations for the path of discussion and research that the World Music Academy has since consolidated over the following years within the Nuova Generazione Trad project.
