Edition 2025 — Tracce di Inchiostro

The first edition of Tracce di Inchiostro - Giallo e Nero di Puglia took place from July 11 to 13, 2025, in the Cloister of the former Convento delle Scuole Pie in Brindisi. Three evenings with free admission, starting at 8:30 PM, brought together twelve of the most authoritative and original voices in Italian crime and noir fiction, as part of the Meridiani d'Estate program.

First edition: three evenings of crime and noir

The debut of Tracce di Inchiostro - Giallo e Nero di Puglia brought the Cloister of the former Convento delle Scuole Pie in Brindisi to life from July 11 to 13, 2025, with free evening meetings at 8:30 PM. Organized by the Fondazione Nuovo Teatro Verdi with the Municipality of Brindisi, the festival brought twelve Italian crime writers to the city, moderated by Barbara Perna and Regina Cesta with the support of local bookstores.

Each evening followed a theme: Friday the 11th focused on private anxieties and suspended atmospheres, Saturday the 12th on obsessions, trauma, and imperfect justice, and Sunday the 13th on women, crimes, and Mediterranean roots. A journey that confirmed the vitality of noir as a key to interpreting the present and inaugurated an event destined to return.
