The Good Friday procession through the town streets
The Town Way of the Cross is one of the most heartfelt moments of Holy Week in Camposampiero (Padua). On the evening of Good Friday, the community gathers in the Church of San Pietro to begin the procession that retraces, station by station, the path of Christ's Passion.
The initiative is promoted by the Antonian Shrines, places deeply linked to the memory of Saint Anthony and the spiritual heart of the town. The Way of the Cross winds through the streets of the center, involving faithful of all ages in a rite that combines prayer, song, and contemplation.
More than just a liturgical event, the Town Way of the Cross is an occasion for the entire community of Camposampiero to come together, reaffirming the deep bond between the town of Camposampiero and its religious tradition.
