The 2025 edition of the U23 race took place from August 23 to 29, 2025, entirely in France, with a time trial prologue in Tignes followed by six road stages. The final victory went to the Frenchman Paul Seixas, who also dominated the final mountain time trial, ahead of Widar and Nordhagen.
Among the Italian riders, the fourth place in the general classification by Lorenzo Finn stands out, confirming the quality of the Italian youth system. The 2025 edition anticipated the unprecedented arrival in Italy scheduled for 2026, with the grand finale set in Ceresole Reale, on the Gran Paradiso, in Piedmont.
