The 2025 edition of Totanata in Piazza took place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Piazza Immacolata in Malfa, on the island of Salina. As part of MalfaEstate 2025, the squid festival offered a tasting of large quantities of local squid cooked according to traditional Aeolian recipes, served to numerous visitors during a typical popular evening celebration.

The 2025 edition of Totanata in Piazza was held on August 31, 2025, in the central Piazza Immacolata of Malfa, on the island of Salina. The squid festival, organized by the Municipality of Malfa as part of MalfaEstate 2025, upheld its tradition: starting at 9:30 PM, large quantities of local squid were cooked and served, prepared according to the numerous recipes of Aeolian cuisine.

The evening brought together residents and tourists in a convivial atmosphere, amidst the flavors of the sea and the charm of the Aeolian village, confirming the Totanata as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Salina summer.
