Tortello, Polenta and Chestnut Festival in Ronta

The 2025 edition of the Tortello, Polenta and Chestnut Festival in Ronta was held over the two weekends of October 4-5 and 11-12, at the sports field of the hamlet of Borgo San Lorenzo (FI). On the menu were the great Mugello potato tortelli, served with meat sauce, butter and sage, or mushroom sauce (also in a gluten-free version), traditional and fried polenta with mushrooms or wild boar, roasted chestnuts, and the inevitable grilled meats. The kitchen opened in the evening for dinner and also for lunch on Sundays, with covered areas to ensure the party continued even in case of bad weather. The event confirmed its role as the closing festival of the Mugello autumn season.
