Edition 2025 — Tortellino and Tripe Festival

The first edition of the Tortellino and Tripe Festival in Cavallano took place on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th, 2025, in the village of Cavallano, Casole d'Elsa (Siena). Organized by the Contrada Cavallano, the debut event featured tortellini, tripe, and other traditional local dishes, with outdoor dinners, entertainment, live music, DJ sets, and a district raffle.

The first edition (2025)

In 2025, the first Tortellino and Tripe Festival debuted in Cavallano, a village in Casole d'Elsa (SI), organized by the Contrada Cavallano, one of the districts of the Casole d'Elsa horse Palio. The event, created to combine tradition, history, and good food, took place on June 6th and 7th, with tortellini and tripe as the signature dishes.

The debut edition offered local gastronomic specialties, entertainment, a prize raffle drawn between dinner and the musical evening, as well as live music and DJ sets, laying the foundation for the event to be repeated and expanded the following year.
