Edition 2025 — Torta dei Fieschi

In 2025, the Torta dei Fieschi brought Lavagna back to the Middle Ages with its historical procession in costume and the reenactment of the 1230 wedding. Thousands of people participated in the 'gioco delle coppie' and the cutting of the large wedding cake, in one of the most beloved festivals of the Ligurian summer.

The 2025 edition of the Torta dei Fieschi confirmed the charm of the medieval reenactment in Lavagna. The historical procession with the Sestieri, musicians, flag-wavers, and Cavalieri del Fiesco paraded through the centre, recreating the atmosphere of the 13th century.

As tradition dictates, the festival culminated in the 'gioco delle coppie' and the cutting of the monumental wedding cake, distributed free to participants in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the presence of a very large crowd.

Free admission; 'gioco delle coppie' card is subject to a fee.
