Torrepaduli Living Nativity

Also in the edition spanning December 2024 and January 2025, the Torrepaduli Living Nativity confirmed its vocation as a great community narrative of the Nativity. Inside the Museum of Peasant Civilization, housed in the 18th-century Palazzo Pasanisi, dozens of actors in costume brought the scenes of the Nativity and the rural life of the past to life.

Along the route, one could find the ancient crafts of Salento — the blacksmith, the weaver, the basket maker, the knife grinder, the potter — while torches restored the intimate atmosphere of the holidays. The organization, curated by the 'Ettore Pasanisi' Senior Association, included the event in the Christmas program of the Municipality of Ruffano, in the province of Lecce.
