Edition 2025 — Torrecandele Festival

The 2025 edition of the Torrecandele Festival took place on August 30 and 31 in the Sant'Agata di Militello district, in honor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From August 28 to 30, the evening recitation of the Holy Rosary at the Madonna's shrine prepared for the festivities, which culminated on Sunday the 31st with the procession of the statue, Holy Mass in the square, and an evening of music and fireworks.

Torrecandele Festival 2025

The 2025 edition was held on August 30 and 31 in the Torrecandele district of Sant'Agata di Militello. From August 28 to 30, at 6:00 PM, the Holy Rosary was recited at the Madonna's shrine.

On Saturday, August 30, the evening came alive with the lemon granita festival (8:30 PM) and the vernacular theatrical comedy "U Malocchiu" by the Anspi Club (9:30 PM).

On Sunday, August 31, after the morning cannon fire, the procession of the statue of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the streets of the neighborhood and Holy Mass in the square took place at 5:00 PM, with songs by the San Francesco d'Assisi Choir. In the evening, the Collage Live Tour concert (10:00 PM) and, at midnight, the fireworks and the performance of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Brass Band closed the festival.

August 28-30, 6:00 PM: Holy Rosary at the Madonna's shrine. Saturday, August 30 - 8:30 PM: lemon granita festival; 9:30 PM: theatrical comedy "U Malocchiu" by the Anspi Club. Sunday, August 31 - 8:00 AM: cannon fire; 5:00 PM: procession of the Madonna's statue and Holy Mass in the square with the San Francesco d'Assisi Choir; 10:00 PM: Collage Live Tour concert; 12:00 AM: fireworks and concert by the "Giuseppe Verdi" Brass Band.
