Edition 2025 — Tornareccio Music Camp

The fifth edition of the Tornareccio Music Camp took place from July 22 to 26, 2025, bringing together about fifty young musicians from across Abruzzo. Five days of workshops, masterclasses, and free evening concerts enlivened the squares, districts, and the Monte Pallano Natural Park, under the artistic direction of Prof. Manuela Martinelli and featuring maestro Mario Rosini with his quartet.

The fifth edition of the Tornareccio Music Camp was held from July 22 to 26, 2025, confirming the summer music residency format for about fifty young Abruzzo musicians. The mornings were dedicated to workshops — "Syrinx" flute ensemble, "Young Interpreters" chamber music and piano, "In Harmony" choir, orchestra, and contemporary repertoire — while the evenings offered free concerts in various locations around the village.

Highlights included the soloists' concert in the San Giovanni district, the "Dante Night" with readings and music in Piazza Fontana, chamber music performances in the historic center, and the masterclass with maestro Mario Rosini, who performed with his quartet alongside the camp orchestra. The grand finale took place in the evocative setting of the Monte Pallano Natural Park, in Tornareccio, province of Chieti.

Programme

July 22: Orchestra soloists' concert (San Giovanni district). July 23: "Dante Night", Dante readings with musical accompaniment (Piazza Fontana). July 24: Chamber music performances and "Music between notes, mosaics, and beauty" in the historic center. July 25: Singing competition and concert by the Mario Rosini quartet with the camp orchestra. July 26: Final orchestra concert at Monte Pallano.
