Edition 2025 — Almond Festival

The 2025 edition of the Toritto Almond Festival took place over four days between late August and September. The mornings of August 30-31 and September 6 were dedicated to guided tours of the almond groves, with harvesting, processing, and Aperimandorla; the evenings of September 27-28 focused on pastry workshops in the historic center to learn how to prepare pasta reale and other Toritto almond sweets.

2025 Edition

The Toritto Almond Festival 2025, organized by the Pro Loco Toritto-Quasano APS, took place over four days: Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, Saturday, September 6, and the final weekend of September 27-28.

The mornings (from 9:00 AM) featured guided tours of the almond groves up to the mother tree of the Filippo Cea variety, with demonstrations of harvesting, shelling, and natural drying, concluded by the Aperimandorla featuring local products. The evenings of September 27 and 28 (from 6:00 PM) moved to the historic center, with taste workshops in pastry shops dedicated to the preparation of pasta reale and walks starting from Piazza Aldo Moro.

All activities were free with mandatory booking, as part of an experiential tourism journey between the Province of Bari and the Alta Murgia National Park.

Programme

Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, Saturday, September 6 (9:00 AM): guided tours of almond groves, almond harvesting and processing, Aperimandorla. Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 (from 6:00 PM): pastry workshops in the historic center, preparation of pasta reale, walks starting from Piazza Aldo Moro.
