Edition 2025 — Torciata di San Giuseppe
The 2025 edition of the Torciata di San Giuseppe in Pitigliano took place between March 15th and 19th. On Saturday the 15th, guided tours of the historic center, a tasting of Bianco di Pitigliano at the Teatro Salvini, the Corteo del Villano, and the minitorciata for children in Piazza della Repubblica were held, concluding with the Brotherhood Fires in Piazza del Mercato. Sunday was dedicated to the X Trailrun of the Vie Cave and guided excursions to the Etruscan Vie Cave.
On Wednesday, March 19th, the main evening: the procession of the torciatori carried the reed bundles to set fire to the invernacciu in Piazza Garibaldi, amidst the propitiatory dance of the hooded men. Throughout the event, a photography exhibition organized by the Merchants' Association was hosted at the Teatro Salvini.
