Edition 2025 — Tombea Cheese Festival

The 44th Tombea Cheese Festival took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Cima Rest, a hamlet of Magasa in the Municipality of Valvestino. As tradition dictates, the festival celebrated the rare Tombea cheese with stalls of typical products, a lunch based on spit-roasted meat and polenta, and the atmosphere of the mountain village with its characteristic straw-roofed hay barns.

The 2025 edition, the 44th, was held on Sunday, September 14, in Cima Rest, in the Municipality of Valvestino (province of Brescia). The festival reaffirmed its mission: to promote Tombea, an alpine cheese, Slow Food Presidium, and with it, the work of the Valvestino cheesemakers. Amidst the high-altitude meadows, visitors could purchase local products and enjoy lunch with local specialties, in one of the most characteristic mountain festivals of Garda Bresciano.
