In August 2025, the Tolle Festival renewed the corn festival in Montorio nei Frentani, with the distribution of over three thousand ears of corn boiled or roasted, music, and conviviality, following the local tradition that has lasted since 1965.
The 2025 edition of the Tolle Festival confirmed in Montorio nei Frentani (CB) one of the most beloved events of the town's summer. As per tradition since 1965, on the second Sunday of August, over three thousand ears of corn (the 'tolle'), boiled or roasted, were prepared and distributed amidst food stalls, music, and conviviality, celebrating the peasant culture of the Frentani hills.
