Edition 2025 — Tira Festival

In 2025, the Tira Festival enlivened Piazza della Vittoria in Cairo Montenotte with the town's symbolic dish, the sausage-filled focaccia. Amidst gastronomic stands, music, and convivial evenings, the event confirmed its role as an unmissable summer appointment in the Bormida Valley.

The 2025 edition of the Tira Festival brought back the tradition of the tira, the sausage-filled focaccia that tells the gastronomic story of Cairo Montenotte, to Piazza della Vittoria. The Pro Loco served the specialty on warm July evenings, accompanied by music and entertainment, in a well-attended popular festival. The event reaffirmed the bond between the Cairo community and its symbolic dish, an authentic expression of the Bormida Valley's culture.
