Four free evenings of great Italian music in Piazza del Popolo, Rome
TIM Summer Hits is the free music festival that kicks off the summer in Rome every year, drawing tens of thousands of people to Piazza del Popolo. Promoted by Roma Capitale in partnership with TIMโthe title sponsor for the fifth consecutive yearโand produced in collaboration with Rai, the event brings the most beloved names in Italian music together in one iconic setting. In 2026, the festival takes place from June 21 to 24, featuring four consecutive nights and over 80 artists on stage.
The strength of TIM Summer Hits lies in its variety: the stage at Piazza del Popolo hosts a mix of established stars and rising talents, taking the audience on a journey through pop, singer-songwriter music, urban, dance, and the tracks destined to become the soundtrack of the summer. Among the many names announced for the 2026 edition are Emma, Annalisa, Rkomi, Arisa, Fulminacci, Michele Bravi, Fabri Fibra, Irama, Gaia, Francesco Gabbani, Fedez, Sal Da Vinci, Ermal Meta, Francesco Renga, Orietta Berti, Giusy Ferreri, Paola Turci, Benji & Fede, and many others, spread across the four nights.
Guiding the audience through the evenings are Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu, now a well-established duo for the event. The shows are recorded in the square and later broadcast in prime time on Rai 1, with airings scheduled over the following weeks, simultaneously on Rai Radio2 and available on RaiPlay. This allows the energy of Piazza del Popolo to reach all of Italy, confirming the capital as the premier showcase for the best of national pop music.
A new feature for the 2026 edition is the TIM Summer Hits Village, a public meeting space set up in Piazza del Popolo from the morning onwards, offering exclusive content, activities, and moments dedicated to fans waiting for the evening concerts. The event thus becomes an experience that lasts the entire day, not just the musical evening.
Choosing Piazza del Popolo is no coincidence: one of the capital's most famous squares, located in the heart of the historic center, becomes a natural open-air amphitheater for four nights. The event is completely free and designed to be popular and inclusive, bringing together families, young people, and music lovers in a festive atmosphere that officially marks the beginning of the Roman summer. For the Lazio Region and the city of Rome, TIM Summer Hits has become one of the most popular free musical events of the entire season.
Four consecutive evenings, from June 21 to 24, 2026, brought Piazza del Popolo to life with over 80 artists, ranging from established stars to emerging talents. The hosting duo of Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu was confirmed, as was the free-entry format, with new features for the public such as the TIM Summer Hits Village, open from the morning.
