About TIM Summer Hits

TIM Summer Hits returns to Rome, turning Piazza del Popolo into a massive open-air stage. Over four consecutive nights, from June 21 to 24, 2026, more than 80 artists from the Italian music scene will perform under the stars for free, featuring everything from pop and singer-songwriter tracks to urban hits and the season's biggest anthems. Hosted by Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu, the event is recorded and broadcast in prime time on Rai 1, marking the official start of Rome's summer season.

The premier free music event of the Roman summer

TIM Summer Hits is the free music festival that kicks off the summer in Rome every year, drawing tens of thousands of people to Piazza del Popolo. Promoted by Roma Capitale in partnership with TIMโ€”the title sponsor for the fifth consecutive yearโ€”and produced in collaboration with Rai, the event brings the most beloved names in Italian music together in one iconic setting. In 2026, the festival takes place from June 21 to 24, featuring four consecutive nights and over 80 artists on stage.

A star-studded lineup of pop, singer-songwriter, and urban talent

The strength of TIM Summer Hits lies in its variety: the stage at Piazza del Popolo hosts a mix of established stars and rising talents, taking the audience on a journey through pop, singer-songwriter music, urban, dance, and the tracks destined to become the soundtrack of the summer. Among the many names announced for the 2026 edition are Emma, Annalisa, Rkomi, Arisa, Fulminacci, Michele Bravi, Fabri Fibra, Irama, Gaia, Francesco Gabbani, Fedez, Sal Da Vinci, Ermal Meta, Francesco Renga, Orietta Berti, Giusy Ferreri, Paola Turci, Benji & Fede, and many others, spread across the four nights.

Hosts and Rai broadcast

Guiding the audience through the evenings are Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu, now a well-established duo for the event. The shows are recorded in the square and later broadcast in prime time on Rai 1, with airings scheduled over the following weeks, simultaneously on Rai Radio2 and available on RaiPlay. This allows the energy of Piazza del Popolo to reach all of Italy, confirming the capital as the premier showcase for the best of national pop music.

The TIM Summer Hits Village

A new feature for the 2026 edition is the TIM Summer Hits Village, a public meeting space set up in Piazza del Popolo from the morning onwards, offering exclusive content, activities, and moments dedicated to fans waiting for the evening concerts. The event thus becomes an experience that lasts the entire day, not just the musical evening.

Rome and its iconic square

Choosing Piazza del Popolo is no coincidence: one of the capital's most famous squares, located in the heart of the historic center, becomes a natural open-air amphitheater for four nights. The event is completely free and designed to be popular and inclusive, bringing together families, young people, and music lovers in a festive atmosphere that officially marks the beginning of the Roman summer. For the Lazio Region and the city of Rome, TIM Summer Hits has become one of the most popular free musical events of the entire season.
