Threshing Re-enactment

In the summer of 2025, the Threshing Re-enactment took place once again in the Sant'Agnese district of Città Sant'Angelo (PE), confirming an event deeply rooted in the life of the district and curated by the S. Agnese and S. Agata Festival Committee.

The day showcased the wheat threshing with vintage agricultural machinery and traditional techniques: sheaves loaded onto carts, the thresher in action, and farmers passing bundles with pitchforks in a collective ritual that involved both young and old. The conviviality of the rural table, with typical local dishes, accompanied the festival, offering visitors an authentic immersion into the rural culture of Abruzzo.
