Edition 2025 — Carnival of Teana
In 2025, Teana once again celebrated its historic carnival with the appearance of L'Urs, the Bear mask dressed in goatskin and chains, amidst cowbells, anthropological rites, the 'I Maccarun ca mllic' festival and live music, under the organization of Pro Loco Teana APS.
The carnival of Teana also took place in 2025 during the traditional February period, confirming the rite of L'Urs, the Bear in chains embodying wild nature, accompanied by the other masks of the village.
Between ritual dressing, parade amidst the cowbells, gastronomic festival and musical moments, the community passed down one of the most characteristic anthropological heritages of the Lucanian Pollino, with the support of Pro Loco Teana APS.
