The Taste of Piana's Typical Products (Grill in the Square)

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Piana degli Albanesi hosted the 2025 edition of "The Taste of Piana's Typical Products." The historic center transformed into a trail of authentic flavors dedicated to local, farm-to-table products.

The star was the Grill in the Square, with meats and sausages cooked on the spot, accompanied by artisanal cured meats, typical cheeses, baked goods, and traditional Arbëreshë sweets, all washed down with local wines. The evening, with free admission and designed for the whole family, alternated tastings with moments of musical entertainment and the discovery of the village's cultural heritage, with visits to the Musarb museum, the churches, and the open-air museum of the Scheschi district. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Piana degli Albanesi and the Regional Department of Agriculture, organized by the Qvemi and Artigianando associations with the collaboration of Bashkë and the Pro Loco.
