Edition 2025 — The Tables of Saint Joseph
2025 Edition (3rd edition)
In 2025, the Tables of Saint Joseph enlivened the Municipality of Minervino di Lecce and the hamlets of Cocumola and Specchia Gallone from March 16 to 19, for the third consecutive year of the Divine Villages among Saints, Fairy Tales, and Megaliths project, promoted by the Municipality with the Mercatino del Gusto association.
The program included a conference on religious and convivial rituals on March 16, cooking workshops on March 17 and 18 dedicated to the links between Salento, Arbëreshe, and Mediterranean traditions, the grand itinerant tasting trail on March 18 with stations distributed across the three villages, and a meeting on pilgrimage traditions on March 19. At the center of the tables were the votive dishes dedicated to the saints, featuring massa di San Giuseppe, ritual bread, fennel, and oranges, with the collaboration of Pro Loco, parishes, associations, and local families.
