Edition 2025 — The Summit of Crafts

The 2025 edition of The Summit of Traditional Aosta Valley Crafts brought together at the Fort of Bard the award-winning works from the Aosta Traditional Craftsmanship Exhibition-Competition. Wood sculptures, leather and copper goods, wrought iron, wicker, traditional costumes, and footwear told the story of the manual skill and identity of the Aosta Valley, in a free admission exhibition.

In 2025, The Summit of Traditional Aosta Valley Crafts brought to the exhibition spaces of the Fort of Bard the award-winning works from the Traditional Craftsmanship Exhibition-Competition held in the summer in Aosta. On display were the winning works in various sectors: wood carving and sculpture, turning, basketry, leather working, wrought iron, stone, copper, traditional costumes, and footwear.

The exhibition, with free admission, confirmed the role of the Fort of Bard as a custodian and showcase of Aosta Valley artisanal identity, offering visitors to the Municipality of Bard a journey through the gestures and materials of alpine tradition.
