The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy

The 2025 edition of the Romantic Night in Presicce-Acquarica, titled Candle Light Edition and curated by the artistic direction of Improvvisart, was held on Saturday, June 28, starting at 8:45 PM. Over 50 actors, musicians, dancers, stilt walkers, and street artists transformed the village into an immersive route illuminated by candles, lanterns, and soft light.

The public traversed the natural scenery of the Ducal Palace, the underground olive mill, the churchyard of the Mother Church of Sant'Andrea, and the historic alleys, amidst theatrical performances, concerts, poetry readings, and installations. Among the protagonists were musicians Michele Cortese and Giovanni Bisanti, the acrobats of the Stranivari Circo Collective, street artist Simone Melissano, the "Tango a capo" tango community, and live painter Imma Vitiello. At 11:00 PM, the grand finale on the churchyard brought all the artists together in a hymn to love. Admission was free.
