A day immersed in nature to celebrate bees and the environment at the Santa Croce River Park in Mogliano
The Path of the Bees is an event that transforms the Santa Croce River Park in Mogliano, in the Marche region, into a large open-air laboratory dedicated to nature and the world of bees each year. Created to raise awareness among adults and children about the importance of pollinators and environmental protection, the event is ideally linked to World Bee Day and offers a simple and welcoming format, perfect for a family day trip.
The event takes place at the Santa Croce River Park, one of the most picturesque green areas in the Municipality of Mogliano (Province of Macerata), overlooking the Ete river and perfect for outdoor activities. The event is organized by the Associazione Amici di Santa Croce (Friends of Santa Croce Association) and the Confraternita del Santissimo Sacramento (Confraternity of the Most Blessed Sacrament), with the patronage of the Municipality of Mogliano. Its strong local roots make the Path of the Bees much more than just an event: it is a community moment that involves volunteers, families, and local businesses.
The heart of the day lies in the activities designed for children and families: a treasure hunt that guides the little ones to discover the park, creative workshops on nature and bees, and traditional wooden games that evoke the spirit of old-fashioned play. There is also a cultural dimension, with a theatrical performance offering a poetic reflection on the environment and the value of words. The food stand, open all day, completes the experience with local flavors.
The Path of the Bees is the ideal choice for those looking for a free, outdoor event suitable for all ages. It's an opportunity to spend a peaceful day in the green of the River Park, learning something new about the ecosystem and the importance of bees, and discovering the hospitality of a small Marche village like Mogliano.
The 2026 edition of The Path of the Bees, the third, confirmed the event's winning formula: a day entirely dedicated to nature and the world of bees at the Santa Croce River Park in Mogliano, in the Marche region.
