Edition 2025 — Passion of Christ Giardinello
The first documented edition of the Passion of Christ in Giardinello took place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 9:00 PM at the town's Urban Park, in the Metropolitan City of Palermo. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Giardinello with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of the "Gesù-Maria-Giuseppe" Archpriest's office.
Through an accurate historical and scenic reconstruction, the performance led spectators to relive the most poignant moments of the Passion: the trial of Jesus, the ascent to Calvary with the cross, the crucifixion, and the deposition. An event of faith, history, and reflection, made more evocative by the settings and the interpretation of the actors, open to the entire community.
