About The Opening
Christmas opens on Corso Campano
"The Opening" is the event that officially launches Christmas in Venafro, in the province of Isernia. For an entire day, Corso Campano transforms into "a lively open-air stage," with lights, stalls, and entertainment filling the city center in a Christmas spirit.
Markets, flavors, and workshops
The program combines craft markets with gift ideas and Christmas decorations, food stalls with local specialties and typical sweets, shows, workshops, and entertainment for children: a proposal designed for families, combining tradition, creativity, and flavors of the Molise region.
Promoted by the community
The initiative is promoted by the City of Venafro and the Cultural Association Con il Cuore, with the aim of strengthening the sense of community and enhancing the urban heart of Venafro, creating an occasion for meeting and celebration at the start of the holidays.

After the second edition in 2025, "The Opening" returns, eagerly awaited in December 2026, to open Christmas in Venafro.
