Edition 2025 — Nights of Canestrato

On August 9 and 10, 2025, Le Notti del Canestrato animated the historic center of Moliterno with the gastronomic route dedicated to Canestrato di Moliterno IGP: tastings, ancient cellars open to the public, show cooking by Potenza chefs, folk music, and the final DJ set in the medieval castle.

The 2025 edition of Le Notti del Canestrato, held on August 9 and 10, confirmed the success of one of the most beloved festivals in the Val d'Agri. The historic center of Moliterno transformed into a grand tasting itinerary centered around Canestrato di Moliterno IGP, featuring historic cellars open to the public, show cooking by chefs from the Potenza Alliance, concerts, and the unmissable final DJ set within the walls of the medieval castle. Thousands of visitors, many of whom were returning emigrants, thronged the streets and squares of the Lucanian village.
