The Night of the Faugni 2025
The 2025 edition opened on the afternoon of December 7th in the Roman Cisterns of Palazzo Acquaviva with the conference "Doganella, Tratturi and Transhumance" and the exhibition "The Routes of Wool and Fire". At 7:00 PM, in Piazza Duomo, the lighting of the Sacred Fire kicked off the long night. The program featured the comedy show by Giampaolo Morelli at the Municipal Theater and, at 11:30 PM, the free concert by Francesco Baccini in Piazza Duchi d'Acquaviva. After midnight, fire shows, street performers, and DJ sets animated Corso Elio Adriano, Piazza Martella, and Piazza San Pietro, with the Liga cover band dedicated to Ligabue. At dawn on December 8th, at 5:00 AM, the traditional Li Faegn procession crossed the historic center of Atri.
