Edition 2025 — The Miraculous Water

In the summer of 2025, the company I Burattini della Commedia once again animated the parks, courtyards, and squares of the province of Modena with its figure theatre review: about sixty shows in sixteen municipalities in Emilia-Romagna, all with free admission. A travelling programme that, on summer evenings, transformed the outdoor spaces of the Apennine villages into small theatres for families and children.

The 2025 edition of Burattini Estate confirmed the tried-and-tested formula of the company I Burattini della Commedia: a travelling review with about sixty events spread across sixteen municipalities in the province of Modena, in Emilia-Romagna, from June to September.

Across parks, gardens, and squares, the puppet, puppet, and marionette shows engaged an audience of families with free admission, enhancing the outdoor spaces of the Apennine centres and carrying on the great tradition of Emilian figure theatre.
