In Ferrazzano, in the province of Campobasso, the patron saint is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on June 13th. Here, devotion becomes spectacle thanks to "The Miracles of Saint Anthony", a traveling theatrical performance that involves the entire community.
Over a hundred participants in the village alleys
The performance stages the thirteen miracles attributed to the Saint, re-enacting them along the streets of Ferrazzano's historic center. Over one hundred participants, including actors, guides, and collaborators, bring to life the route that starts from Piazza Caduti di Marcinelle and winds through the ancient village to the climax in Piazza Spensieri. Spectators are guided in small groups, with staggered departures, to experience the narrative step by step.
A recent but already beloved tradition
The initiative is promoted by the Association "I Miracoli di Sant'Antonio – Ferrazzano", founded in 2018, and has quickly won over audiences, attracting over a thousand visitors for each edition. A musical band, food stalls, and fireworks complete the patronal celebrations, which are spread over several evenings around June 13th.

On June 13, 2026, Ferrazzano will celebrate its patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua, with the grand traveling performance. How to get there
Ferrazzano is a few kilometers from Campobasso, reachable by car in about fifteen minutes. It is advisable to park at the entrance of the town and walk to the historic center.
