The Magical Christmas of Opi

Presented on December 22, 2025, the Christmas edition offered a rich program of concerts, musical events, and festive moments in the historic center of Opi. The program, included in the Lights and Traditions: Enchanted Christmas initiative shared with nearby Pescasseroli, accompanied the holidays with entertainment for children and families.

Among the most cherished events were the New Year's Eve celebrations, the arrival of the Befana, and the traditional Polenta Opiana torchlight procession with mulled wine and hot chocolate around the bonfire. The celebrations concluded with the Feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot in mid-January, with ritual fires marking the end of the winter holiday cycle in the Abruzzo National Park.
